On Monday afternoon while Pattaya Police led by Pol. Capt. Wisanu Chaisuwan and Pol. Lt. Winai Sanitpan were manning a checkpoint in Soi Korpai, South Pattaya, 2 men with suspicious demeanors drove a white Yamaha Mio motorcycle past the checkpoint, so they were signaled to stop for questioning and searching.
Unexpectedly, one of them pulled out a gun and foolishly threatened the police before zipping away. These dingbats were chased by the officers, of course, and were arrested in front of the Na Jomtien Police Station about 5 km from South Pattaya.
The offenders, identified after as Mr. Suriya Chai-ya-goon, aged 39 and Mr. Yod Kua-na-moen, aged 38, were arrested with a BB gun, a steel cutter and a screwdriver in a backpack. Mr. Suriya revealed that he just had been released from jail for drug offences, and his main modus operandi has been stealing in the area. Therefore, they were both taken for further investigation and legal proceedings, to find any additional criminal records.
