A traditional Thai style funeral ceremony took place on the evening of 17th July at the Angsila temple in Chonburi province. The hand bathing ceremony was performed for Khun Boonmee Saman, the mother of Police Captain Sumruay Saman, an inspector at Chonburi Immigration Office in Jomtien.  Many notable officials from Immigration and City Hall, Police Officers, and business people attended to pay their respects.  Mrs. Saman died at the age of 67 from cancer.  The cremation will take place on Saturday, 21st at her home town in Srisaket Province.
