During their regular daily inspections of the Beachfront on Pattaya Beach Road, on Monday morning officers and police volunteers brought into Pattaya Police Station a total of 40 women and ladyboys caught hassling tourists. The aim of the mission is to hopefully crackdown on street crime, including robbing unsuspecting tourists that in particular quite a few ladyboy gangs are notorious for, thus giving their community a bad reputation.  All had their names recorded and were then fined the princely sum of 100 baht before being released back onto the streets.
