On Monday, Pattaya Mayor Ittipol Khunplom, expressed his grief on hearing of the death of a 2 years old boy, Pee-ra-pat Heng-pra-kon, who had been bitten by 2 Soi dogs on his head and neck, until he died.
The Mayor has ordered the officers who deal with animal control to strictly restrain these street dogs, which can spread rabies and attack the people and tourists.
The Mayor also advised people who have pets, that a collar is required for the pet, because from now on, any dog without a collar will be held to be street dog, and it will be captured and kept in a safe place, in order to prevent these unexpected attacks on children and tourists.
