On Tuesday at Sriracha Technology College, Dr. Som-sak Rung-rueang, the Dean of Southeast Bangkok College, chaired a Wai Kru ceremony to pay respect to teachers for the year of 2012. Students gave flowers, incense and candles to their teachers, to show their respect to the instructors who gave them their education. After the ceremony scholarships were presented to the students who study well. There were 129 scholarships granted, with a total value of 3,186,200 Baht. The grants included 22 scholarships of 50,200 Baht for 100% top students, 12 scholarships of 25,100 Baht for students with good grades, 18 scholarships of 50,200 Baht for western music students, 15 scholarships of 50,200 Baht for Cheerleaders, 26 scholarships of 2,000 Baht for excellent grades, and finally, 36 scholarships of 2,000 Baht for special education.
