The Pattaya Police are continuing to monitor the numbers of prostitutes along the beaches, and especially, along Walking Street and Pattaya Beach Road. This effort is to prevent and suppress all types of common crimes committed by these ladies and gents of the evening, like chain snatchings, pick pocketing and drugging the unsuspecting to rob them. The officials hope to reduce the frequency of crimes for the safety of all tourists, and the good reputation of Pattaya city. So, On Wednesday at 3 am, Deputy Suppressing Inspector Pol. Capt. Netitorn Rat-ta-na-su-cha-nan led a team of police and police volunteers scrutinized and apprehended 30 ladyboy prostitutes. The officers recorded their names into their data base, and fined them 100 baht each before freeing them.
