On Tuesday, the Sawang Boriboon Rescue Team was called for assistance with an accident on North Pattaya Road, in front of the Flying Morning Glory Chinese Restaurant, where a tour bus driver had suffered an injury to his arm.
At the scene, the tour bus of Golden Thai Travel, driven by Mr. Sutape Ganjanarak, aged 56, was parked on the side of the road. Mr. Sutape’s right hand and arm had been torn and broken, showing large open wounds. While receiving first aid, Mr. Sutape stated that he dropped off his tourists to dine at this restaurant, and remained in his driver’s seat to wait for them. While waiting, he rested his hand and arm outside the bus, but not very much, and when a big bus drove too close past him, it slashed his arm and tore his hand.
The Sawang took Mr. Sutape to a hospital to care for his injuries, and after that, he visited Pattaya Police Station to file a complaint, to track down the bus driver who injured him for prosecution.
