Joe O’Driscoll is top man at Eastern Star Two Flights off the white tees. Good Golf, Tough but good conditions,

Tuesday, 20th March at Plutaluang
Play abandoned for only the second time in two years
The matches on the day had to be abandoned due to a bad storm. It was reported to me that it was the worst that many players have ever seen at a course. Heavy rain and a quick rising mist, making it impossible to tell exactly where you are on the course!
Compliments have to be made to the management and staff at Plutaluang for giving the club a rain check for all who attended to come and play at another time. This is a rare occurrence and a first for the Bowling Green.
Thursday, 22nd March at Greenwood
Honesty seemed to be the policy on the day
I have it reported to me that Petter Anderson penalised himself four shots having found himself to have played the wrong ball and Tom Herrington penalised himself two shots for a practise swing that hit a branch. It did not stop him taking second place in the “A” flight though.
Two flights this week played of the white tees on A & B
Excellent club service as always and a good day’s play enjoyed by all concerned.
