Fortunately the coffee was hot and for most black, so they could recover on the trip down to Bangpra.
 
For me the big draw at Bangpra is that when you finish playing, you can jump into the big hot tub and soak the aches and pains out of your bones, then go up to the fine Restaurant and enjoy the Bangpra Special, Rainbow Ice Cream. It is one of the reasons I book it.
 
Back to the golf, and the Course was in good condition, if a little dry. The weather was really hot and humid, so as this was the second day on the trot, many people found the back nine very difficult. The greens were as usual very difficult to read, and many players threw away the day with many three, and four, puts.
  Day over and back at Bert's, in addition to the Winner on the day, we also had to pick the Winner of the Alan Bolton Golfer of the Month. So in third place was Mick O'Meara with 36 points, losing second on count-back to Ian Covill, also 36 points, and so to the winner. The winner on the day was Mark Brenton with 37 points, and this win catapulted him forward and he also won The Golfer of the Month. Well done Mark!   T.T.F.N.
