New Pier Decision

Pattaya Pier Project in Final Stages Mr. Sithiphap Muangkhum, Chief of City Hall chaired a meeting on 26th April at City Hall to accept the last presentation of the new construction at Lan Pho Naklua,
which should be a pier and or lighthouse tower to prevent danger at sea. This last presentation was a one storey Chinese styled pavilion attached to a bridge over the beach – crossing to a pier also with barriers to protect people from falling over. City Hall viewed the presentation and stated that it was indeed a beautiful design but it is unrealistic since the pavilion is rather fragile and is not rain-proof therefore is not suitable when there is a rainstorm. City Hall suggested changes to be made to the plan – mainly based on a stronger solid structure so it can be used in any weather conditions and also be durable for a long period of time. Once the improvements and changes have been made the company will then reapply to City Hall for further reconsideration.
