Norwegian Report on Being Drugged
Norwegian 54 year old Mr. Ove Erlend Taerud came into Pattaya People Media Group’s Office in the afternoon of Saturday 12th May to ask for assistance since he claimed that he had been drugged and robbed the night before.
Therefore a reporter from our Media escorted the man to make a police report at the Pattaya Police Station. At the station Mr. Taerud stated that at 9 pm on 11th May he went out to drink at the Boomerang Bar located in Soi Yamoto – Pattaya 2nd Road. He then took a lady called “Poo” up to the second floor. In the room, he drank some water and then passed out. He woke up at 6 am to find the lady gone. When he went downstairs he met the owner of the venue “Khun Duang” and asked her about the girl. She stated that she has no information of the girl and couldn’t assist him. The items stolen were; a gold ring and necklace, six thousand Baht, a wrist watch, and a Nokia mobile phone, making a total of about 30,500 Baht. The Pattaya Police stated that they will go to the venue and contact the owner and get more information from the bar owner. Investigations are ongoing.
