Twenty People Arrested for TV Show Gambling
The crime suppression department of Pattaya Police was able to arrest a large number of people that were gambling on Thai boxing being televised in the afternoon of Saturday 12th May.
First the police were informed they were causing disturbance to everyone else in the neighbourhood with their loud cheers. When the team entered the house in Sukhumvit Soi 56; they found over 50 people gambling on the Thai boxing broadcasting live on TV. All made a run for it and with difficulty the police were able to capture 20 gamblers including 49 year old Mr. Somchai Ninrat the owner of the house. All confessed their charges and further proceedings will be made on them from a ringside seat at County Court.
