Pattaya Council Member Mr. Fahrut Wongborisut asked Mayor Niran Wattanasartsatorn about the road works because the public is affected by the continuous and never ending road diggings around Pattaya. Many residents are not happy that this has not been cleared and demand answers. All see that City Hall is responsible. There should be an announcement made to residents explaining this matter.

Another subject brought up in the meeting was about drainage on Sukhumvit Road since flooding always occurs there and it is causing a lot of difficulties for motorists and residents living along this highway.

Mayor Niran explained that he has plans on how to solve this problem. A meeting was held earlier to organize drainage to help take the flood water elsewhere and pipes will be placed at many locations on Sukhumvit Road to help prevent flooding.
