Provincial Police Region 2 attended to discuss the development and protection of intellectual property rights.

The Department of Intellectual Property has established efficient and internationally acceptable mechanisms providing services aimed at protecting intellectual property rights and creating public confidence so as to encourage the creation of new works, in accordance with and as an infrastructure for the national economic development.

This meeting was held to give knowledge to the officers about protecting intellectual property rights under the law on patents, trade marks, copyrights, topographies of integrated circuits, on trade secrets and the law on geographical indications.  This is to encourage Thai and Western investors, which in turn promotes the trade of Thailand.
