Capital Controls Should End

The Finance Ministry says that the Bank of Thailand (BOT) should abolish capital controls
in order to promote foreign investment in Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET). BOT imposed 30% capital controls on December 18, 2006, but exempted equities the next day when the SET fell 15% in one day.
