 In order to be named “Business Tool of The Year” Bartercard had to meet some rigorous criterion. The publication’s investigative journalism team had to assess the ease of implementation of the tool, additional services offered, customer relations, product demand and potential success for the future, financial viability and marketing promotion.  As a business that is based on good relations and is growing rapidly, it’s hardly surprising that Bartercard met each criterion with flying colours.  And it’s not as if they had the chance to fake it; none of the nominees were informed that the research and selection process was taking place.
