visa service for foreign nationals. I spent a lot of my time looking carefully at the area and peoples needs and doing due diligence before my commitment to become a specialist visa consultant. My team at Key Visa Co feels totally at home with the expats & foreign community and we endeavor to make every visa application a hassle free venture for our clients. We understand the problems clients face and we make every effort to support them until satisfaction is reached. We are the official immigration advisors for the Pattaya Expats Club & the Scandinavian Expats Club. I offer a lot of my time giving free advice to newcomers & expats in Pattaya specializing on retirement & long stay visa applications. I am offering a weekly advice clinic in this newspaper and today I am focusing on the new changes to the holiday and settlement visa application forms for Thai nationals to visit or settle in the U.K. On the 9th November 2007 the British Embassy in Bangkok unveiled their new application forms for Thai nationals to visit or settle in the U.K. A brief note posted on the British Embassy website indicates that the changes are to make it easier to complete the forms and that they are more user friendly. With some market research many clients feel that the new style of application form is more difficult to understand and has a larger number of questions to answer making it difficult for a novice to complete themselves without making mistakes which could be a detriment to your application. One of the major changes is that the settlement visa form has changed from a VAF2 now to VAF4 and they can be easily downloaded from the British Embassy Bangkok website. What Visa Types Are Availiable for Britain? The two most common visa types are the VAF1 holiday visa & the VAF4 settlement visa both the visa types are a difficult process in the respect that the main criteria with the two types is showing the Embassy that you & your Thai partner have a very strong relationship together; you cannot prove this to the Embassy by a conversation you have to provide a large amount of evidence on paper to substantiate the relationship be it 6 months or 6 years. The Embassy will not entertain an application unless it is backed up by fruitful information they like to see that the Thai citizen & the sponsor have a very strong long lasting relationship & this is where we can help the client. As visa to the UK specialists we deal with different relationship criteria everyday I can honestly say that no application is the same but as far as embassy protocol is concerned we offer the client the necessary information we feel the Embassy needs to see to prove that the relationship is strong enough for the visa to be awarded which is the secret of success. How Does the Process Start? The process begins with the applicants completing a questionnaire about there relationship & financial attributes. We then have a consultation with the client to enable us to verify off the information given which visa type is appropriate for the client to apply for which is very important because I have seen so many applicants fail in the process due to a mistake on the application form. During the consultation we can grasp a strong overview of the relationship & then advise the client the best way forward with the application. How Can Key Visa Help US? If the client feels happy to employ key visa to take the application forward we then give the both parties of the relationship the information needed to make a strong application. When all the information is then handed to ourselves, we collate all the information into an easy reading format complete with translations. The key to success with any visa applications is that all the information submitted is correct & tru
