Disabled Rights Bill

A new bill protecting the rights of disabled persons is expected to come into effect next year. Under article 29 of the bill employers will be required to hire qualified disabled persons or make contributions to a fund for disabled persons. Employers who fail to comply with the rules will be fined. There will also be tax incentives for those employing disabled persons. Tax incentives will also be given to building owners or transportation companies that provide facilities and accessibility for the disabled.
