New Foreign Fund Rules
|
|
The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has announced that foreign fund managers will be given 60 days after receiving approval to raise cash and set up a fund. The rule has been made to ensure that fund managers do not attempt to block or exaggerate quotas. If the SEC finds that the fund has not been set up within 60 days the quota will be given to someone else.
