The Board of Investment (BOI) has announced that during the pas ten months there has been a 36% increase over last year in applications for the electronics, automotive and automotive parts industries. Seven international car makers have proposed projects to make ecocars. BOI has decided to position the electronics, automotive and auto parts industries as strategic industries in order to attract foreign investment.
