Inspection Delays Requested

Building owners have asked for a 180-day extension from the December 31, 2007 deadline to comply with new inspection rules. The law requires that nine types of buildings be inspected before the end of this year. Many building owners are unable to complete the inspection due to a shortage of qualified inspectors.
