At Green Valley on our first outing in August on Saturday the first all the players present were somewhat surprised by the average age of the caddies that were offering their services for the day’s play.

Over my last few reports I have been stressing regularly on how it was “new faces” to the TRGG that had been taking the spoils.

Out of the four outings this week by the TRGG the highest score of forty-three was provided by Brian Beupre at his visit to Greenwood on Thursday.

This week is going to be remembered by Phil Battah for a long time. He pulled off his first win here in Thailand at Green Valley on Saturday the 27^th with a thirty five pointer beating Nijole Murtagh by just the one point.

Tuesday, 24^th February: Phoenix (Stableford)  It is the end of the Month again at Bert's, and that old carrot, The Alan Bolton Golfer of the Month, comes to the fore.

Tuesday, 17^th February: Crystal Bay (Stableford) Tuesday morning at Bert's is always a bit special, with the smell of hot coffee and his fine breakfast; it is just like a home from home.

The first ever day of Friday golf from Tropical Bert's came off well as 22 golfers played the B & C nines at Crystal Bay after meeting for Bert's great Golfers Breakfast and the drive up Sukhumvit.

Thursday, 29^th January: (Stableford)   We have not been to Greenwood for a few weeks, and on arriving and looking over the Course from the start, it reminded me how much I have enjoyed this Course over the years.

Friday 26^th December: Phoenix Playing a Medal round at Phoenix is usually a little easier than some of the more challenging courses around but not as easy as some of The Bunker Boys made it look today!
